CRAZY RUNNING WOMAN

Do you sometimes feel that you are running around like a mad woman and not  getting anywhere?  I do and at the end of the day  I have achieved absolutely nothing.  I've done my grocery shopping in such a rush that I got about half of the things I wanted.
Today I went shopping and put my prescription into the chemist to get filled while I shopped and then I went home without picking up my medications and had to go all the way back again.
I had been busy all day but I didn't do half of what I set out to do.  However I did achieve one thing, I managed to burn a saucepan beyond recognition and probably beyond ever using  again.  By the end of the day I wished I had never got out of bed, the day was a waste of time.  It is like my acelerator is stuck and I can't slow down.  The only thing to do is slam my foot on the brake.
Sometimes when I get caught up in this rat race I know there is only one thing to do and that is to stop, relax and do nothing for awhile.  Usually I write a list of the things I want to do and then I prioritise the list from most important to least important.  After doing this I take one thing at a time and work steadily though it.  This usually works for me.
After a week of being a crazy running woman I have decided the best thing I can do for my own sanity is pack a bag and head for the hills so, this weekend I am going camping.  That's right, I am giving up my  lovely comfortable bed for a blow up mattress in a tent and I am going to kick back, relax and read a book, cook on a camp fire, take a walk and recharge my batteries.  By the time I get back I hope the madness has passed and I am a little more organised so wish me luck.
