DISAPEARING SOCKS

Do you throw your socks into the wash and then when you go back to hang them on the line one has disapeared?  I do.  I once had lots of socks and now I have lots of odd socks.

I did find a way to solve this problem.  All my socks are one color.  If one decides to disapear it's ok
I always have another sock to match it.

Sooooo.....where do those disapearing socks go?

I have often found them lurking in the corner of a fitted sheet and even cowering inside pillow slips.  I've also found them next washday clinging to the top of my front loader wash tub.  They do have amazing clinging power for their size. 

I tried washing them in the little bag usually reserved for my delicate undies but I am sure one of those nasty little socks chewed a hole in my undies bag and then decamped.

I have thought of getting my feet tatooed so it looks like I'm wearing socks but then what do I do when I don't want to wear socks.

Somebody once told me to tie them together before putting them in the wash.  That's when I found out they can undo knots.  that's when I realised you can never underestimate the deviousness of a sock.
