Give A Book

Are you still struggling with what to give for Christmas?  I have always found giving a book is a good stand-by.  Of course you need to choose something that will interest the receiver but that isn't terribly difficult.


I usually give something that matches the persons hobbies and interests.  For children something that is educational but written in a way that the child enjoys like  the Wimpy Kid books.  They are great fun to read. Please don't give them something like Elementary Maths, unless of course they are mad about maths.


For the men in your life why not something on sport  For the girls something inspirational.  Really there are thousands of books out there to choose from so why not browse through a few and see what you can find.


I love to get a book as a gift from someone who has taken the time to look for something they know I am interested in.  To me this means that person has put a lot of thought and effort into choosing something they know I will enjoy. Quite often I think people buy gifts they would like to receive themselves and they don't give a lot of thought to what the person they give the gift to really likes.


Gift giving can be difficult so my motto is when you are at a loss as to what to give, give an interesting book.
